The new appointment with B&R Automation Talks entitled “Smart drives and scientific method – dominate motion with advanced control” is scheduled for November 19th.

In the webinar it will be shown how to simply implement a series of advanced functions such as: ripple compensation, antisloshing, filters, noise suppression, etc., which allow to increase the performance of an axis and meet the requirements of the most demanding applications.

It will also be explained how to use the intelligence on board of the drives, which constitute a real decentralised computing architecture, to make the drives work in a reactive way and with good autonomy, relieving the central controller from a huge amount of calculations. The direct control, by carrying out the calculations in the drive and acting directly on the motor, also makes the system much more reactive.

In this digital event it will be explained how to make the most of the scientific method to create a motion control and for which applications it is essential. Moreover there will be expounded the advantages that can be obtained thanks to the intelligence on board the drive, in terms of reactivity and precision and explained how the mapp technology allow to benefit from the knowledge and experience of expert controllers to quickly implement very sophisticated motion functions.
