From May 18 to 21, 2027, Targi Kielce will once again transform into a working factory—complete technological lines will demonstrate their full capabilities live in action. For the first time, machinery will also be showcased in the venue’s brand-new expo hall.

The previous edition reinforced PLASTPOL’s position on the international stage. The Kielce event is consistently ranked among the key industry trade fairs in Europe. The milestone 30th edition gathered 660 exhibitors from 36 countries and attracted 15,000 visitors from 41 nations.

“Trade fairs remain the most human venue for effective business. Live operating machinery showcases full operational potential, while visitors can directly talk to executive board members, decision-makers, sales managers, and technical specialists at the booths,” emphasizes Dr. Andrzej MochoÅ„, President of Targi Kielce in Poland.

High-level business discussions take place alongside running injection molding machines, extruders, industrial robots, and complete production lines. Dozens of machines and technological lines were sold during the last edition, with participating companies reporting signed contracts and advanced commercial negotiations.

European Networking and Market Insights

Preparations for PLASTPOL 2027 are already well underway, with companies joining the exhibitor list. Representatives of the organizing team are also meeting with enterprises during key European events, including the Fakuma fair in Germany, PLASTEX in Brno, myCEPPI conferences in Serbia, and Plastivent in Poland.

“Our discussions cover not only presentation formats in Kielce, but also current market conditions and participant expectations, allowing us to develop the trade fair’s program and formula in response to industry challenges. We know how vital international outreach is, and we are working to expand the exhibitor list beyond 36 countries and attract visitors from even more than 41 nations,” points out Kamil Perz, Director of the PLASTPOL fair.

Visitors represent a wide range of sectors utilizing plastics and rubber, including plastics processing, automotive, packaging manufacturing, recycling, construction, medical, and consumer electronics/home appliances (HA).

The international scope of the event is already reflected in the exhibition structure. Global companies, European market leaders, and enterprises from around the globe have announced their participation. Stronger representations are expected from Scandinavia, along with national pavilions from the Czech Republic, Switzerland, and Hungary, as well as companies representing various German federal states.

Among the new features at PLASTPOL will be a dedicated B2B matchmaking zone. Pre-arranged, targeted meetings will allow participants to quickly connect with potential business partners and initiate further negotiations. This solution will be available to exhibitors, visitors, and industry representatives seeking new suppliers, technologies, or buyers worldwide.

A New Hall for Heavy Machinery and Complete Lines

Another highlight of the 31st edition of PLASTPOL is Targi Kielce’s upgraded infrastructure. A brand-new hall covering 18,500 square meters with a mezzanine and a clear height of 15 meters opens up fresh possibilities for exhibition layouts. The facility was designed specifically for demanding industrial showcases: heavy machinery, complex technological lines, and live production demonstrations.

With a floor load capacity of 100 kN/m², the venue easily accommodates heavy, large-scale equipment. Wide access gates will streamline delivery and assembly. Companies are already showing strong interest in presenting their products in the new facility.

“This investment opens new opportunities for us as well. It allows us to redesign the trade fair layout and structure the exposition into distinct industry sectors,” adds Kamil Perz.

Technologies, Knowledge, and Industry Awards

At the same time, PLASTPOL remains a premier platform for business growth and debates on industry challenges. Integral parts of the event include the Plastech Info Technical Seminar and the PlasticsEurope Polska Foundation conference. The second edition of the international event organized in cooperation with Confindustria Polonia is also currently in preparation.

The fair will be accompanied by the OMNIPLAST competition, held in collaboration with the tworzywa.pl portal, where exhibitor representatives will test their knowledge of plastics processing. Exhibiting companies will also be able to submit their latest products and solutions for the prestigious Gold Medal Award.

“PLASTPOL is the meeting place for all links in the value chain: machinery manufacturers, processors, raw material, technology, and service providers, as well as the scientific community and industry organizations. It is truly worth being at Targi Kielce in May,” highlights Kamil Perz.
