GreenPlast 2025 is gearing up to welcome an international audience with an edition that’s even richer and more future-oriented. Scheduled to take place at Fiera Milano from May 27 to 30, 2025, the event reaffirms its position as a benchmark for the world of technologies dedicated to plastics and rubber. Its clear mission: to demonstrate how innovation and sustainability can go hand in hand, generating value in a constantly evolving supply chain.

An Expanding Exhibition Overview

With around 200 exhibitors, both direct and represented, spread across 5,500 square meters, GreenPlast offers an increasingly comprehensive snapshot of cutting-edge technologies for the processing, recycling, and reuse of plastic materials.

A future-focused vision is further enhanced by the presence of official delegations of buyers from around twenty countries across Europe, the Mediterranean, and the Middle East—coordinated by ICE-Agency and leading industry associations.

One hundred highly qualified professionals from structured companies active in manufacturing and recycling will be in attendance, seeking solutions to enhance the competitiveness of their production processes, with a strong emphasis on energy efficiency and reducing environmental impact.

Thanks to an online matchmaking platform, buyers will be able to schedule targeted meetings with Italian exhibitors in advance, making their visit even more strategic and effective.

Beyond the Exhibition: Inspiration and Exchange

GreenPlast will also serve as a venue for in-depth discussions and dialogue on the key challenges facing the sector. The international conference “Shaping a Sustainable Future for Plastics”, coordinated by AMI – Applied Market Information and Promaplast, the event organizer, will bring together experts and key players from the supply chain to reflect on the opportunities presented by the ecological transition.

In addition, the Tech Talks – short presentations by exhibitors – will provide direct insights into the most advanced technological solutions that combine performance with sustainability.

Sustainability Becomes Art

But sustainability at GreenPlast is not only about technical solutions. This is clearly demonstrated by the eagerly awaited Art&Plastics exhibition, which in this edition features original projects such as LadyBe’s creations, “Plastica d’Artista” (curated by Pina Inferrera), “Arte da mangiare mangiare Arte,” and Museo Acqua Franca (projects by topylabrys), alongside the MAP – Museum of Plastic Art from Castiglione Olona.

Through art, polymers become secondary raw materials that tell stories, evoke emotions, and open new scenarios of circularity.

Shaping the Next Generation

Education will also play a leading role. Around fifteen universities and technical institutes have already expressed interest in participating in the fair. For them, guided tours and educational activities will be organized with the aim of promoting a more informed culture around the use of plastics, their potential, and above all, their recyclability.

One Ticket, Four Events

Online pre-registration is already available for all industry professionals interested in visiting GreenPlast, in the “Visitors” section of greenplast.org. Admission also grants access to three concurrent exhibitions: Ipack-Ima, Print4All, and Intralogistica Italia, offering an even more complete experience in the world of sustainable manufacturing.
