GVS – one of the world’s leading manufacturers of advanced filtration solutions for critical applications in highly regulated markets – has announced the opening of its new facility in Lancaster, designed to maximize efficiency and quality. The investment represents a further milestone in the company’s global growth strategy.

Following the inauguration of a state-of-the-art manufacturing site in China in 2025, this new opening confirms GVS’s commitment to strengthening its international presence and meeting the needs of global markets. The modern, innovative facility brings together production, laboratories, cleanrooms, warehouses and offices under one roof, reinforcing GVS’s focus on innovation, sustainability and operational excellence.

A strategic location for growth

The choice of Lancaster is no coincidence: its proximity to the M6 motorway and the city centre ensures optimal accessibility and visibility, making the site an ideal hub for efficient logistics and fast connections. This location enhances GVS’s ability to serve customers and partners with shorter lead times and improved service levels.

Centralizing operations within a controlled environment reduces unnecessary movement, improves team safety and creates opportunities for advanced automation. The result is higher product quality, streamlined processes and a reliable customer experience—core pillars of GVS’s values.

Massimo Scagliarini, Group CEO of GVS, commented: “With the opening of the Lancaster site, we are taking a decisive step forward in our global growth journey. Bringing advanced technologies, expertise and processes together in a single hub will allow us to serve our customers with greater speed, quality and reliability. This project was designed with sustainability criteria that reduce environmental impact, because at GVS innovation and responsibility go hand in hand.”

Innovation and sustainability at the core

The new facility introduces cutting-edge manufacturing technologies to ensure precision and performance across multiple product lines, ranging from automated injection moulding and ultrasonic welding to the production of advanced filters and HEPA/ULPA mini-pleating.

Sustainability is an integral part of the project: the site is powered entirely by renewable energy and uses heat pumps to recover and reuse thermal energy. In addition, landscaping initiatives and water management systems help reduce environmental impact, further strengthening GVS’s commitment to responsible manufacturing.
