Franplast: a short film to communicate company’s approach

The current wide TPE portfolio of Franplast is the result of the growing demand for customised solutions, linked with the Board propositional attitude and the dynamism of the R&D team.
New Franplast’s challenge is to become a qualified partner for European start up and well established companies, that aim to develop new TPE applications
With 50 years of experience in the field of thermoplastic elastomers, Franplast has built widespread relationships with a large number of companies. Franplast deals with different firm categories such as brand companies, technical focused firms, mould manufacturers and subcontractors (specialised in injection moulding, extrusion or blow moulding). Franplast’s company network differs from dimension, geographical location and technologies. With its heterogeneous database, Franplast is in the ideal position to select the most suitable subcontractor for new TPE projects.

At the Fakuma Fair in Germany, Franplast will communicate its attitude to work with OEM and ODM companies through a brand new stand set-up. Franplast will display a very large led-wall, where it is possible to preview a short film dedicated to some TPE applications developed in partnerships with OEM and ODM companies.
Franplast came to the idea of a “video storytelling”, because it thinks this is the best way to transmit the teamwork spirit that guide the company approach and the complexity of the process that brings to market new TPE products.
In the film you will meet the applications of three different companies. Clementony Spa, an European leading company in the world of educational toys, is present with “Clemmy”, the soft toy bricks, that with their motto “Soft& Safe”, embodies the distinctive quality of whole Franplast’s production.
The exclusively developed TPE formulation, used for the production of Clemmy, is conform to the Toys Rule EN 71, it has the FDA and EU food compliances and it has also successfully passed the rigid chemical tests of the German TÜV certification.
Safety is the shared quality of all the presented projects. The baby bath-tube of CAM Spa “baby bagno” has stability feet and two anatomic non-slip inserts and it is designed to follow the baby in his growing progress (from reclined to the seated position).
It will be also possible to preview the prototype of the last chow toys, that the company United Pets is currently testing. The new toys-bone is made of flexible but strong TPE, that fulfill the FDA and EU food contact regulations. United Pets design to the principles “form follow functions”, that is why the company involves the leading suppliers in the early stages of the development-process.
Franplast is also thinking along those lines. In order to achieve the best results, it is important to select or develop the most suitable TPE at the beginning of the project, or at least before tools manufacturing.
Acting in this way you prevent the usual mistakes that happen to who splits in two different stages design from production.
The film ends with the image of the whole company logo with the payoff motto “I trust only Franplast”. The motto clearly encourages turning the clients-supplier relationship into a long-term partnership.
