From October 8 to 15, 2025, the international K 2025 trade fair in Düsseldorf opens its doors once again. In Hall 14, Booth A38, W. MÜLLER GmbH — a second-generation family-owned company — will present innovative and forward-thinking technologies for extrusion blow molding. The focus will be on technically versatile, sustainable solutions tailored to meet specific customer requirements.
A highlight of this year’s showcase is the newly developed three-layer accumulator head, specially designed for processing post-consumer recyclate (PCR). This system is ideal for technically demanding parts with high PCR content, such as those used in industrial packaging, water containers, and toy manufacturing.
The company’s portfolio also includes standard accumulator heads with electric drives, along with a wide range of retrofit options that allow existing systems to be upgraded with state-of-the-art technology.
W. MÜLLER’s multilayer accumulator solutions are available in two variants, including the shot-pot version for highly complex and technically challenging applications.
Existing single-layer accumulator systems can be retrofitted with the new three-layer technology. Operating with just one melt accumulator, this system requires minimal additional space, making it a compact solution compared to conventional single-layer systems.
This flexibility enables not only innovative product designs but also compliance with legal requirements—such as the targeted use of PCR in the middle layer without compromising the outer layers.
Another key advantage is Plug & Play capability. Integration into OEM machinery is straightforward, either via the existing control system or W. MÜLLER’s proprietary MERC control system, which offers enhanced functionality. The result is modular, customer-centric solutions that seamlessly integrate into existing production environments.
